Hello,
I'm back again and talking to you today around the fragrances chosen for the current Christmas collection.
So in the height of Christmas this was my first collection launch. Starting off with three simple fragranced candles for Christmas. Mulled Pear and Cranberry Punch, Christmas Tree and Winter Apple and Brandy.
My thoughts behind them?
The Christmas Tree fragrance was something I was curious about. For all those (myself included) who had the artificial Christmas Tree, could I replicate the smell of a real pine tree in the home? I've seen the pine scented sticks that you can buy to put on your tree, but honestly when I have smelt them in the past they were always a little strong and never appealed to me. The Christmas Tree fragrance was the first fragrance I began using when making candles. It is a lovely subtle fragrance and very relaxing due to the bergamot, which is known for relaxation along with relieving stress and anxiety. I was making these candles and feeling so relaxed. The candle really does have you feeling like you are walking through a forest, but in the comfort of your home. Objective complete, it was the first candle in the collection.
Mulled Pear and Cranberry Punch this is definitely more uplifting a fruity number that packs a punch. This fragrance has been the overall winner so far. The fragrance is strong boasting a beautiful scent throw. It had to be added to the collection offering something completely different to Christmas Tree it was a favourite from the beginning.
Winter Apple and Brandy was taking the strong and powerful scents to something more subtle. When I began making candles there was a lot of chat around having a scent free candle. I can't quite bring myself to make a scent free candle at the moment but I do appreciate the fact that some people do not like the over powering fragrances. Looking at the opposite ends of the scale this was the scent for my collection. It is a subtle fruity fragrance that still says 'Christmas', however still with those notes of bergamot the candle still held those relaxing qualities.
So, that my friends is it! Three beautiful Christmas candles from me to you. Tested thoroughly and the three fragrances at will always be my first loves. Check them out on the website now. Available in 3 different sizes and perfect for those Christmas gifts. Although I would not blame you if you just wanted to keep them for yourself!
All my love,
Kelly xx
